Highlights of the ACCC 31st National Oncology Conference
Hundreds of oncology professionals gathered in San Diego for the ACCC 31st National Oncology Conference, Oct. 8-10, 2014. From sessions on precision medicine to increasing patient engagement to improving workflow, two conference tracks led to one destination: delivery of quality care. An overarching theme across sessions: Regardless of care setting, oncology care providers are facing the same challenges--new payment models, declining reimbursement, increasing competition, quality demands, and rapidly evolving technology. To meet the triple goal of improved quality, reduced cost, and enhanced services, providers will need to work together collaboratively across settings and service lines. Learn more here.
