Optional Event: Cherry Blossom/Monuments of the Tidal Basin

Springtime in Washington, DC
Washington, D.C. is a city unlike any other, and ACCC is excited to host a private two-hour tour for CANCERSCAPE attendees! As we embark on the moonlit tour and pass iconic D.C. landmarks, our guide will dish out the controversies, well-kept secrets, and rich history on these nationally-recognized sites.

Once we reach the Tidal Basin, you will marvel at the majestic Jefferson Memorial—just one of many breathtaking views. As you continue to explore the treasure trove of memorials, you will discover one of the most unique ones in Washington, the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial. This outdoor museum demonstrates each term of Franklin Roosevelt’s memorable presidency through art, quotes, statues, and fountains.

By the end of the tour, you will understand the city’s prominence and the reason why people from around the world make the pilgrimage to Washington, D.C.
