Working With Media
The Association of Community Cancer Centers (ACCC), the premier education and advocacy organization for the oncology team, welcomes media interest in the Association and its activities.
ACCC works with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and Congress to ensure continued patient access in both the hospital outpatient and physician office settings. ACCC leads efforts aimed at assuring that cancer programs are adequately funded, thereby allowing our more than 10,000 members to focus on what they do best: providing quality cancer care.
The Association encourages media participation at its annual national meetings, its regional oncology symposia, and its national oncology economics conference. ACCC provides complimentary registration to professional journalists representing accredited media organizations for the express purpose of gathering news and information to produce editorial coverage of the meeting.
