Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, Radiation Oncology, Newark, Delaware

Summary:
An immediate opportunity exists for a full-time Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in a Radiation Oncology practice in one of the premier cancer centers in the United States. Radiation Oncologists, P.A, is the exclusive provider of radiation oncology services to the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center, one of the few NCI designated community cancer centers in the United States. The center is affiliated closely with the University of Delaware and has transitional research on campus. In addition, there is a CCOP base at the Cancer Center with more than 700 patients annually enrolled in NCI trials.

The radiation oncology practice is seeking a highly motivated and independent individual willing to work along side the physicians in seeing consults, follow-ups, and providing coverage for patients under treatment.

Essential Requirements:
Oncology experience is desirable but not essential.

The individual selected will have a competitive salary and an unusually generous benefit package will be offered including a substantial retirement contribution from the corporation, as well as a generous family health insurance package with an HSA. There is no weekend or night call.

Radiation Oncology Nurse Care Manager, Chesapeake, Virginia

Chesapeake Regional Medical Center
Chesapeake Regional Medical Center is a 310 bed acute care hospital located in Chesapeake, VA. We are a stand alone hospital that provides inpatient and out-patient services for citizens of southeastern Virginia and northeastern North Carolina.

Two positions available in growing oncology department at Chesapeake Regional Medical Center. The positions present the opportunity to develop a new role in an established radiation oncology center treating >50 patients/day, external beam and growing HDR programs.

Essential Requirements:
Requires BSN or in process with current RN licensure. Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an oncology setting. Radiation oncology preferred. OCN certification or eligible within first year of employment.

Must be customer oriented, creative problem solver, excellent communicator and team participant. Demonstrated commitment to performance improvement and continuing professional growth and development.
