Summary:
Anne Arundel Medical Center, located in beautiful Annapolis, Md., seeks a seasoned Dosimetrist for our radiation oncology team. In this role, you will perform the calculations and measurements necessary to achieve the Radiation Oncologists' prescriptions and alternate treatment plans where appropriate. The selected candidate will have knowledge of the overall characteristics and clinical relevance of radiation oncology treatment machines and equipment and the expertise to generate radiation dose distributions/dose calculations.
To qualify, you must be a graduate of a formally organized hospital or college affiliated medical Dosimetry program, have at least five years of experience as a Medical Dosimetrist, and have current CPR certification. You must also have eclipse experience/training. IMRT and IGRT experience is preferred.
