Genzyme’s passion, first and foremost, is to patients. Genzyme has translated this passion into products and services that provide significant positive impact on the lives of people with serious diseases, and that meet major unmet medical needs. Genzyme’s broad area of focus includes oncology, lysosomal storage disorders, renal disease, orthopaedics, transplant, immune diseases, and genetic disorders.

Genzyme is also one of the largest providers of diagnostic testing services in the world and a major supplier of diagnostic products. In oncology, Genzyme’s product development expertise, robust research program, and strong global infrastructure provide a solid base for developing and commercializing novel treatments for cancer patients. Genzyme currently has several promising oncology therapies in clinical trials, including treatments for chronic lymphocytic leukemia and pediatric acute lymphocytic leukemia.
