The Association: Web Site Awards
As ACCC continues to grow, so does its site. The website reflects the Association's commitment to being the premier policy-setting organization for the oncology team. Each month, ACCC's web site receives more than 70,000 visitors and 150,000 page views from oncology healthcare professionals and cancer patients. ACCC’s goal is to make the web site a one-stop resource of information for the oncology healthcare community.
Visitors to the site can search the current and past issues of Oncology Issues, ACCC’s official journal, and other ACCC’s publications. Plus, the site offers the following content:
- New oncology drugs and their indications (both on- and off-label) are updated monthly. Oncology professionals can sign up to receive e-mail drug alerts.
- Breaking news on legislative and regulatory changes that affect oncology, particularly reimbursement issues.
- An employment section for the entire oncology team: physicians, nurses, and hospital administrators.
- Message boards for members to network with colleagues and find answers to programmatic questions.
- Resource centers for new products.
- The ACCC membership directory where visitors can search for a cancer center or program by location and name.
- Quick access to all ACCC events and programs.
