As the dominant clinical oncology service provider in the demographically heterogeneous region of east Arkansas, north Mississippi, and west Tennessee, which has some of the highest lung cancer incidence rates in the United States, and principal investigator of two major research projects, you’ll learn of his ground-breaking work in population-based systems of care and the biologic drivers of outcome differences in lung cancer.

The Clinical Research Award recognizes individuals whose research has significantly and positively impacted the oncology patient, family and/or community.

The Clinical Research Award recipient is recognized at the ACCC National Oncology Conference. The winner receives the following:

Application/Nomination Process

Applicants and nominators must complete and submit the Award Application/Nomination Form. The Award Selection Committee reviews the applicants and nominees and selects the candidate to recommend to the Board of Trustees for approval. The winner is then notified and recognized at the National Oncology Conference in the fall.
