Caring for Missouri
The Missouri Cancer Coalition (MCC) is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2002. The Missouri Cancer Coalition's members are physicians, nurses, pharmacists, practice administrators, billers, coders and members of industry dedicated to the care of cancer patients. Coalition members serve on the Medicare Carrier Advisory Committee (CAC) in Missouri as representatives for oncology and hematology and are charged with oversite of local medical review policies. The MCC has been making strides to promote excellence in the care of patients afflicted with cancer and hematological disorders. MCC's goal is to become a conduit between physicians and other members of the health care team. The Missouri Cancer Coalition's Mission Statement: To support excellence in cancer care by establishing better communication, increasing information and advancing education to benefit cancer patients and those who care for them.
